Eaton Corporation located in Reynosa has an opening for a Quality Engineer.
Executes the strategic quality plan as a group with the Quality and Customer Representative Manager maintaining the leadership of the continuous improvement activities in the quality areas, giving total support to the product quality and to the EATON business system. This position executes the consistent organization Quality strategic ensuring products, establishing standards complying with the governmental and customers requests, ensuring the objective fulfillment. Being conducted at any time according to Eaton’s Ethics and Values
A. Verifies the policies and procedures fulfillment, to evaluate the product quality.
B. Provides the quality interface between the organization and their customers, pro-actively ensures that the customer needs and expectations be understood and satisfied. This include the complaints manage process, putting in practice the preventive and corrective corresponding actions.
C. Provides aid to all the organization relating to the quality management in the supplier’s quality data collection and analysis as well as the function as mediator between the supplier and the business, this includes the reports preparation to the supplier utilizing them to give feedback to the suppliers and the business.
D. Provides tools and methods to improve the quality processes provides the mastery in quality guarantee and the tools and methods of process improvement to the organization functions aimed to support them in its continuous improvement activities.
E. Gives monitoring to measurement equipment requests and gages for tests, in the PPAP execution
F. Verifies the testing equipment right operation, providing utilization training.
G. Gives support to manufacturing analyzing the line rejects and directing the efforts to identify and to implement projects to reduce PPM levels.
H Coordinates activities with the manufacture department with respect to formal customers rejects. Applying corrective actions.
I Provides daily reports for production area support.
J Maintains close communication with the Quality and Customer Representative Manager to ensure the right department operation.
K Relates to all departments to ensure the Eaton’s quality products.
L Attending training courses assigned by Human Resources Department.
M Performs activities according to the Quality and Environmental policies established by the business
N Applies the Safety and Environment principles and methodology to prevent accidents.
O Promotes and applies the continual improvement.
Industrial Engineering Degree or similar
3-5 years Experience in Quality Systems
Desirable Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949
Communication skills with customers
Basic Skills to handle measurement systems
High analysis sense
